Having just experienced a pretty powerful new moon in Aquarius this week on Wednesday (Jan 29), which also marked the Lunar New Year (a transformative snake year), we’re stepping into February with a little more clarity and vision.

In the spirit of the powerful serpent who sheds her skin in order to grow and mature, what are you ready to shed as 2025 progresses? What will your new skin feel and look like?

Many astrologers are describing 2025 as the year of truth and authenticity. How does that feel to you?

There aren’t any major planetary ingresses (sign changes) in February, just Mercury and Venus, which is always the way, as they move fast. Venus shifts from Pisces to Aries on Feb 4th (the same day Jupiter stations direct in Gemini), and Mercury moves into Pisces on Feb 14th, Valentines day.

We have our full moon in Leo on February 12th and this is a complex one with Mercury opposite, Uranus at a square angle and Mars is trine Saturn at the same time.

What does it all mean? Well, here’s an interpretation: Leo prizes personal recognition and status and the full moon illuminates what we’re not seeing clearly, so every Leo full moon invites us to take a look at how we’d like to be seen and appreciated. With Mercury and Uranus, plus Mars and Saturn interacting with this lunation, we might feel restless, frustrated, bothered or busy-minded. This might lead to breakthroughs, breakdowns or break ups. We may have thoughts like, “I’m done!”, “I’m ready!” or “I’m stuck!”

On the 18th, the sun moves into Pisces and then on the 24th, Mars completes its retrograde phase and moves direct in Cancer.

We have our new moon in Pisces on the 28th which is square Jupiter. A beautiful end to the month and a spiritually expansive and heart opening lunation.

Channeled Message for February

This guidance is channeled with an open heart and with no attachment to its value, or how it may be received. Please read it with the intention to absorb whatever is meaningful for you, and hold the words lightly, for they contain energetic frequencies beyond the meanings we ascribe.

We come to you this day as a collective comprised of Mother Earth, the nature devas of the land on which this channel resides and “the council of many.”

The message is gentle and clear. Stay true to your nature dear friend. Your pure and true self is returning and wishes to be honoured. This pure and true self was in place at your birth and in most cases, has been covered over or dismissed as time has passed.

Just think for a moment of the newborn human infant. How simple life was. The main driving impulses were to experience love and physical comfort. No performing, no role to play. Not yet. You felt and you absorbed energy. You perceived with your senses and your heart. You had no plan, no agenda and no goals. That simple guiding force remains in you now.

Find and awaken this force and you will discover simplicity again.

All of nature revolves around these simple urges, love and comfort. You didn’t learn about safety until it was threatened in some way. Safety was inherent in existence, until it was disturbed. The trauma of these times and by this we mean the last five millennia, has seeped into your species like a mutation. It’s the stored trauma that ‘up ends’ the truth of how safe you really are.

You are safe in your soul sovereignty, regardless of your human experience. All souls are equal and all are needed on this Earth reality at this time.
